MYTH 3
Left Brain Dominance vs Right Brain Dominance

The popular culture is telling you that some people are left brain dominant and some people are right brain dominant. So, are you Right Brained or Left Brained?

FACT
This idea may have derived from the Nobel Prize winning research of Roger Sperry who did the research in 1960, about which side of the brain is associated with which functions. But that doesn't mean anything to do with creativity is confined to the right brain or everything that's analytical is confined to the left brain. No evidence ever shown that personalities are determined by either side of the brain that dominates the other. Scientists at the University of Utah debunked this idea after an analysis of 1,000 brains. In fact, this myth was never bought by the neuroscience community. Evidence shows there's no right brain dominance or left brain dominance.
